The Winner Is..Michigan State
Denzel Valentine promised a championship and he very well may bring it. When you look at this bracket you automatically realize that the Spartans are inevitably going to face Virginia for the third straight year in the tournament. They have beat them in the first two attempts, and while Virginia has gotten better, it is tough to look at MSU and all that they offer, and with size, shooting, depth and the creation from Valentine and assume that until UVA can prove they can knock off Sparty that they will.
Wouldn’t be surprised if…UVA knocked off MSU.
They are the one seed after all. This Virginia team can score better than people would believe and I am sure that have revenge on their minds the minute they saw the bracket. Malcolm Brogdon is no joke on both sides of the floor and with Anthony Gill and London Perrantes with him they are one of the most dangerous UVA teams that Tony Bennett has. That UVA-MSU part three will be must watch.
Sleeper Watch: Iona
While chalk runs through the brackets, watch out for Iona to ruin some brackets for people looking to get savvy. They play to the similar pace as Iowa State, and actually could be deeper than the Cyclones. AJ English is a story to watch as he tries to prove that he is an NBA player, and a signature performance, or weekend in the tournament is the way to get the buzz going.
